Jewelry Care
Metal being a "living" material, it is bound to evolve over time.
For silver jewelry, these are raw (without surface treatment) for more respect for the planet. They will therefore develop a patina in contact with your skin, your clothing and depending on your use. Remember to remove them for showering, washing your hands, swimming, the sea, playing sports and going to sleep: silver does not like acidity, nor the water/air mixture which starts the oxidation process.
For more information, go to the question "how do I care for my jewelry?"
Concerning engraved jewelry, even if we take care to make deep engravings so that they last over time, it is advisable to take care to remove them for sensitive tasks (work, DIY, painting, handling chemical products, etc.) in order to avoid shocks that could alter their work.
Rest assured, if your engravings become too thin over time, we have chosen to set up a maintenance service by reworking them as needed, but this should not happen for several good years... NB: 750 thousandths gold (18k) and its purer counterparts are the only metals that do not oxidize. A polish from time to time and your jewelry will be like new!
If your jewelry tarnishes, there are several solutions available to you:
- Clean them gently with warm soapy water using an old toothbrush with very soft bristles. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth (optional to finish with a hairdryer)
OR
Place aluminum foil at the bottom of a bowl (cover it completely), place the jewelry in the bowl and sprinkle generously with baking soda. Pour boiling water over everything and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth (option to finish with a hairdryer)

* Precautions for use: make sure to remove them when going to the shower, the sea, the swimming pool, playing sports, doing the dishes and going to sleep. If possible, store your jewelry in airtight plastic bags and in a dry room, protecting them from humidity.
